MADRID, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The PP, with a majority in the Senate, will force the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, to appear in the Upper House to give an account of the Government’s position after the attack by the terrorist group Hamas in Israel last Sunday, if it does not finally do so in Congress.

Spanish, all hours after his party has demanded his declaration in Congress.
Maroto has stated that in Congress it could be the case that the Board of Spokespersons does not consider Albares’s statement adequate, so the PP, with its majority in the Upper House, can force him to explain the Executive’s position in regarding the Hamas terrorist attack in Israeli territory. In the event that the Minister of Foreign Affairs does speak definitively in the Lower House, this second request could be withdrawn.

Maroto has also announced that, at the request of the Plural Group and specifically Junts, the appearance in the Senate of the acting Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez, has been requested.
