MADRID, 19 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has assured this Friday that the Sports Administrative Court (TAD) “has not ordered” the repetition of the elections for the presidency of said body, in which Pedro Rocha is the only candidate, taking into account to an appeal presented by the president of Cenafe, Miguel Galán.

Said TAD resolution refers Galán’s appeal regarding the alleged loss of status of the assembly members who endorsed Rocha to the Electoral Commission, “which will now have to rule,” but, “today the elections do not have to be repeated “RFEF sources told Europa Press.

In this sense, the same sources recalled that in a similar appeal presented this April by the president of Cenafe against the resolution of the Management Commission to call elections for the presidency, the TAD estimated that “no assembly member”, including the former selectors Luis Enrique or Jorge Vilda, had left the General Assembly.

Now the TAD has asked the Electoral Commission to resolve this matter that is among its powers, and the RFEF trusts that it will rule in the same way as it did in the last appeal also presented by Galán.

These members of the General Assembly have not been discharged, since “no resolution has been issued declaring the loss of the condition for which they were elected” and, therefore, they continue to have all their rights as members of the collegiate body of the RFEF. among them that of the right to vote.
