VIGO, 18 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Vox candidate for the presidency of the Xunta de Galicia, Álvaro Díaz-Mella, came this Sunday to vote “with enthusiasm” while waiting for what happens in the elections this February 18 in Galicia.
Minutes before 1:00 p.m., Díaz-Mella entered the polling station, located in the Casa das Artes, in Vigo, where he has exercised his right. After voting, he thanked the members of his board for the work they will carry out throughout the day.
In statements to the media, he highlighted the work carried out this Sunday by the State security forces and bodies so that everything develops completely normally. He has also highlighted the work of Vox’s representatives on a day like today.
Vox hopes to enter the Galician Parliament for the first time and become part of the autonomous government, as the party has defended throughout the campaign.
It so happened that the president of the PP of Vigo, Marta Fernández-Tapias, went to vote at the same time and at the same polling station, so they both greeted each other cordially.
At the exit, she encouraged the people of Vigo to exercise their right to choose “the future they want for Galicia.” “Vigo has a lot at stake and so does Galicia,” she stressed, wishing that the day would pass “normally” and thanking the work of the security forces and the representatives and interveners of all parties.
