The PP accuses the socialists of preparing the ground to grant new concessions and meet the demands of their independence partners
MADRID, 18 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Socialist Parliamentary Group has requested the Congress Board to extend the deadline for the issuance of a new opinion on the Proposal for the Organic Amnesty Law by the Justice Commission, since it will end on Wednesday.
The request was made this Saturday, a few days before the deadline established by the Board on February 6, when it was agreed that the Justice Commission would issue a new opinion within a period of fifteen days, as highlighted in the registry of the the low camera.
Sources from the Popular Parliamentary Group have stated that with this request the PSOE “prepares the ground to subject the Spanish to new concessions”, because it “asks for time to continue digesting the demands of its independence partners.”
The cited sources have highlighted the fact that now, with this request, “the same people who were looking for an urgent procedure and shortening deadlines, even if irregularly, are now asking for extensions.”
“The Sánchez Presidency is based on saying yes to everything that its partners ask for,” underlined the same sources who have highlighted that, in the area of ??the independence movement, there is already talk that there will be two types of criminals: those who are amnestied and those who are pardoned.
The proposed Amnesty Law did not exceed the absolute majority that it needed to be approved in the Plenary Session of Congress on January 30, since Junts fulfilled its threat to pull the plug, and its text was sent to the Justice Commission to reopen the negotiation and present another text in the chamber.
