The CCOO and the UGT mobilize this Monday, May 1, in Madrid, thousands of people under the slogan ‘Raise wages, lower prices, distribute benefits’, in an act of protest and with warnings of mobilizations against the CEOE if an agreement is not reached. agreement in collective bargaining.

The demonstration in Madrid started a few minutes after 12:00 pm led by the general secretaries of the CCOO and UGT, Unai Sordo and Pepe Álvarez, as well as the general secretaries of Madrid, Paloma López and Marina Prieto.

Four ministers attend the demonstration in Madrid: the Second Vice President of the Government and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz; the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero; the Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón, and the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero.
