The canary contributed 4 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in almost 27 minutes, in the victory over the Wizards

MADRID, 7 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Spanish power forward Santi Aldama was once again the starter in the third consecutive victory (103-97) of the Memphis Grizzlies over the Washington Wizards, starting again in the starting lineup, with a greater defensive display.

The canary was not so brilliant on the scoring side, with only 4 points and a poor 2/9 shooting. However, he did stand out in the defensive phase with 10 rebounds and 3 steals, supporting with a formidable physical talent a Grizzlies that are still plugged in not to lose the wake of the head of the Western Conference. They are third, with a balance of 7-3, with foundations based on the courage of his youth and the experience of his most veteran pieces.

Desmond Bane, with 28 points, and Ja Morant, with 23, were, as usual, the leaders of the Tennesse. Bane was key to establishing a considerable distance before the break, plugging several decisive triples and putting a painful 32-48. The Wizards, always in tow, tried to respond, but Aldama seemed at the right time to support his team with rebounds.

The duel tightened in the final stretch, but once again Bane and Morant took on the responsibility to save the Grizzlies and finish with a six-point lead (103-97), enough not to get scared. This loss leaves the Wizards twelfth in the East, with only one win in the last six games and a record of 4-6.

SANTI ALDAMA: 4 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals.
