Fluidra has appointed Jaime Ramírez as the company’s new CEO with effect from June 1, as reported this Monday by the firm specialized in equipment and connected solutions in the pool and wellness sector.
Bruce Brooks, the current CEO of Fluidra, will leave his position on August 31 and will remain in the company as a non-executive director, as announced this Monday by Fluidra in a communication sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Jaime Ramírez will be proposed to join Fluidra’s board of directors at the next ordinary general meeting of shareholders and will work with Brooks for the rest of the year to ensure the transition.
The company has explained that this appointment occurs after an “exhaustive” succession planning process carried out by the board, while highlighting that this election comes at the “appropriate time, with the sector’s activity normalized and in the that the company is preparing its next phase of development and expansion.
Ramírez is a member of the board of directors of Kimberly-Clark, the multinational corporation dedicated to personal care and hygiene products.
